Every Month Antutu reveals their list for top 10 best performing Android phones now they just unveiled their list for March 2019. This time the list is dominated by devices running the Snapdragon 855 chipset.

The Dominance of Nubia Red Magic 2 is finally over with the introduction of smartphones running with the latest Snapdragon 855 processors. As expected the performance ranking for March has been totally rewritten compared to that of February.

Xiaomi Mi9 now holds the crown for the fastest Android smartphone with an average Antutu score of 371,423 points. Xiaomi Mi9 is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and offers up to 8GB of ram. The Flagship Mi9 is closely followed by Samsung Galaxy S10(SDM855) with an average score of 358,845 points. The Galaxy S10 shares the same Snapdragon 855 chipset with Mi 9, but the CPU scheduling of Galaxy S10 is less aggressive than that of Mi 9, which can enable the running of eight CPU cores at full load for a longer amount of time, although this comes at the cost of more power consumption.

In this list, the third spot goes to vivo iQOO Monster, which gets an average Antutu score of 356, 004 points. Although the average score of Vivo iQOO seems less than that of Galaxy S10 surprisingly sometimes it beats the score of S10 with ease. The Vivo iQOO is powered by the same Snapdragon 855 chipset with an enormous 12GB of RAM. Whereas the Mi9 prefers the raw performance over better the Vivo iQOO CPU scheduling is relatively conservative with a bias towards battery life.

The next three positions are occupied by the Exynos Chipsets versions of the Samsung S10 series, which in order are Samsung S10+, S10 and S10e (9820) with an average Antutu score of 332,118, 328,446 and 327,205 points respectively. All of these three phones are powered by Samsung’s latest flagship chipset, the Exynos 9820 chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Exynos models are followed by their Chinese Rival Huawei Smartphones securing the No.7, No,8 and No.9 positions and they all are powered by the Kirin 980 processors. HONOR V2, HUAWEI Mate 20X and HUAWEI P30 Pro, manages to secure an average Antutu score of 301,003, 300,707 and 298,572 points respectively.

The last spot is secured by the Mi MIX 3, powered by a year old Snapdragon 845 chipset and it still managed to crack the top 10 list with an average Antutu score of 296,972 points.

All the upcoming Flagships will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 and soon the Snapdragon 845 devices will be gradually squeezed out of the top 10 list.
